sri devi bhagawat

Saundarya Lahari

Take Self Realisation. After realization the perception gets enlightened, and we can better assimilate what we read.

Take a Bandhan -

"Humbly ask Shree Mataji to give us permission; and to enlighten every nerve in our body, so that we react spiritually to this great knowledge that Adi Shankaracharya has enumerated for us.".

At all times, we should be alert, and fully aware, that the Devi he is describing, is none other than Adi Shakti Shree Mataji Nirmala Devi.

This is not a literal translation, word by word; but a dawning in our awareness of the Majesty and Dignity of the most complete, and final incarnation of the Great Goddess. Quote from Srimad Devi Bhagwat - “If I am experienced in My unseen state, the part of you which experiences or witnesses, is your Central Nervous System. That is why wise and learned of the Vedas, call it eternal”. For this reason, it would be more beneficial for Sahaja Yogis to read this translation in conjunction with Sahaja Yoga material. Wherever possible quotations have been provided from profound books like “Creation, the Eternal Play” and “The Book of Adi Shakti”, to put things in proper perspective.

Adi Shankaracharya had also written a treatise called Viveka Chudamani, which means Crest Jewel of Discrimination.
